Bible K-1
Jesus is our Loving God - focusing on the unique relationship between God and Creation particularly revealing His love for each and every one of us (Introducing Him through the stories of the Bible). It is expected that, in each of the following categories, the student will:
Bible Doctrine
- Demonstrate an understanding of God as the Creator of all things
- Identify stories of the Bible through listening, reading or viewing
- Demonstrate an understanding that Jesus is a loving God through verbal or written examples
- Be engaged in a scripture memorization program with specific goals
Service
- Demonstrate an understanding of God’s love for others and how one serves in a response to His love through service to their family, church, community, or missions.
- Demonstrate an understanding the significance of praying for others
Personal Devotions and Discpleship
- Communicate to God through prayer
- Participate in family devotions and a faith community that will have some application of Bible study such as weekly church service or Sunday School

Bible 2

- Identify stories of the Bible depicting the life, works and teachings of Jesus, through listening, reading or viewing
- Demonstrates an understanding that Jesus is a loving God through verbal or written examples
- Be engaged in a scripture memorization program with specific goals
Service
- Demonstrate an understanding of God’s love for others and how one serves in a response to His love through service to their family, church, community, or missions.
- Demonstrate an understanding the significance of praying for others
Personal Devotions and Discpleship
- Communicate to God through prayer
- Participate in family devotions and a faith community that will have some application of Bible study such as weekly church service or Sunday School

Bible 3

- Identify stories of the Old Testament Bible stories from Creation to the Prophets through listening, reading or viewing
- Demonstrate an understanding that Jesus is a loving God through verbal or written examples
- Be engaged in a scripture memorization program with specific goals
Service
- Demonstrate an understanding of God’s love for others and how one serves in a response to His love through service to their family, church, community, or missions.
- Demonstrate an understanding the significance of praying for others
Personal Devotions and Discpleship

- Participate in family devotions and a faith community that will have some application of Bible study such as weekly church service or Sunday School

Bible 4
Jesus is our Saviour - focusing on the nature of sin, the redemptive work of Christ, the forgiveness of our sins and a personal acceptance of His mercy and restoration while learning to make choices in obedience to God's Word. It is expected that, in each of the following categories, the student will:
Bible Doctrine
- Demonstrate understanding of the nature of sin and Christ’s forgiveness of sin and the scriptures associated with this doctrine
- Identify stories in the Bible where biblical characters experienced God’s forgiveness
- Be engaged in a scripture memorization program with specific goals
Service
- Demonstrate an understanding of what it means to forgive oneself and others
- Demonstrate an understanding of God’s love for others and how one serves in a response to His love through service to their family, church, community, or missions
Personal Devotions and Discipleship
- Communicate to God through prayer
- Participate in a faith community that will have some application of Bible study such as weekly Church Service, Youth Group, Bible Study, or Chapel
- Participate in an ongoing devotional approach to reading the Scriptures
- Demonstrate basic Bible study skills such as, but not limited to, observations, interpretations and application

Bible 5
Jesus is our Saviour - focusing on the nature of sin, the redemptive work of Christ, the forgiveness of our sins and a personal acceptance of His mercy and restoration while learning to make choices in obedience to God's Word. It is expected that, in each of the following categories, the student will:
Bible Doctrine
- Read, study and demonstrate through concert samples an understanding of the redemptive work of Christ as describe in one or more of the books in the New Testament
- Demonstrate an understanding of prayer, the scriptures associated with prayer, and its personal relevance
- Be engaged in a scripture memorization program with specific goals
Service
- Participate in intercessory prayer
- Demonstrate an understanding of God’s love for others and how one serves in a response to His love through service to their family, church, community, or missions.
Personal Devotions and Discipleship
- Communicate with God through prayer
- Participate in a faith community that will have some application of Bible study such as weekly Church Service, Youth Group, Bible Study, or Chapel
- Participate in an ongoing devotional approach to reading the scriptures

Bible 6

- Correlate the Fall of Man, as described in Genesis, to Christ’s redemption
- Identify and describe the differences between the fruit of the Spirit and the works of the flesh
- Describe how one or more biblical character learned to trust God when faced with disappoint and/or adversity
- Be engaged in a scripture memorization program with specific goals
Service
- Communicate the message of Christ’s redemption to family, friends, or community
- Demonstrate an understanding of God’s love for others and how one serves in a response to His love through service to their family, church, community, or missions.
- Demonstrate an understanding of how one service God through obedience
Personal Devotions and Discipleship
- Communicate with God through prayer
- Demonstrate an understanding what it means to acknowledge personal sin, seek forgiveness, and acceptance of God’s mercy
- Demonstrate an understanding of what it means to be obedient to God
- Participate in a faith community that will have some application of Bible study such as weekly Church Service, Youth Group, Bible Study, or Chapel
- Participate in an ongoing devotional approach to reading the scriptures

Bible 7
Jesus is our Lord - focusing on the confession of and commitment to the Lordship of Jesus Christ resulting in the personal choice and commitment to apply His reign in every decision of our lives. It is expected that, in each of the following categories, the student will:
Bible Doctrine
- Demonstrate an understanding of justification through faith in Christ and the scriptures associated with this doctrine
- Identify the different names of God clarifying how each reveals different aspects of God’s character and love
- Demonstrate an understanding of New or Old Testament books through a personal Bible study
Christian Worldview
- Identify the worldview presented in books, movies, lyrics, or T.V programs, and compare this view to a biblical worldview
Service
- Demonstrate an understanding what means to commitment to the Lordship of Jesus Christ
- Describe and demonstrate different ways one can be of service to Christ
- Demonstrate an understanding of how a commitment to Christ stirs Spirit-filled acts of service in the family, community, church body or missions.
- Participate in intercessory prayer
Personal Devotions and Discipleship
- Communicate with God through prayer
- Commit to memory a significant portion of scripture

- Describe, using scriptural references, how believers commit to the Lordship of Jesus Christ
- Demonstrate an understanding of Christ’s commission to preach the gospel and the scriptures associated with this commission
- Demonstrate an understanding of the origins and development of the early church
- Demonstrate an understanding of New or Old Testament books through a personal bible study
Christian Worldview
- Identify the worldview presented in books, lyrics, movies, or T.V programs, and compare this view to a biblical worldview
Service
- Demonstrate an understanding what it means to make a commitment to the Lordship of Jesus Christ
- Communicate the gospel of Jesus Christ to family and friends in words or actions
- Demonstrate an understanding of how a commitment to Christ stirs Spirit-filled acts of service in the family, community, church body or missions.
