  1. For Spanish students- only answer this : Compare and contrast characteristics of various Hispanic cultures; discuss activities and interests of young people in Hispanic communities.
  2. What are some elements/characteristics of this culture in Canada and the world?
  3. Share some of your family and community traditions.
  4. Additional question for French students : Identify and compare the activities and interests of young people in Francophone communities to your own.

Grade Nine:

  1. Distinguish similarities and differences between your own customs and those of the culture you are studying. (family life, leisure activities, expressions and behavior, etc)
  2. Identify ways in which this language and the English language have influenced each other.
  3. Additional question for French students : Identify and compare several Francophone cultures from around the world.
